Mission Statement

The mission of Sisters in Crime (SinC) is to promote the ongoing advancement, recognition, and professional development of women crime writers.

Sisters in Crime (SinC)

Sisters in Crime (SinC) is an international organization founded in 1986 and currently made up of more than 3,000 members in 48 chapters worldwide — authors, readers, publishers, agents, booksellers, librarians, and others who love mysteries. In 2017, SinC celebrated its 30th year of opening doors to strengthen the voice of women in the mystery field.

Delaware Valley Chapter of Sisters in Crime (DVSinC)

The Delaware Valley Chapter of Sisters in Crime (DVSinC), founded in 1995, includes women, and sometimes men, who live in South Jersey, Delaware, Philadelphia, and the surrounding areas. Our membership is composed of mystery readers as well as writers. Many are published authors, while others have manuscripts in various stages of completion. Our doors are open to anyone who loves to settle in with a good book — especially an absorbing mystery, crime, or suspense novel. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping our authors and aspiring authors further their careers and to giving our reader-members an inside peek into the thrilling world of mystery-writing.

Benefits of DVSinC
